Highlights:

  • Historic drilling identified three mineralized horizons
  • Numerous historic drill intercepts ranging between 0.5% and 1.5% WO3
  • Drill ready

Target: Tungsten

Location:

The Boot Project consists of 12 mineral claims located in south central Yukon Territory approximately 100 kilometers southeast of the town of Ross River.

Ownership: 100%

History:

The Boot property has been explored by a variety of surface methods including prospecting, geochemical sampling, geological mapping and geophysical surveys during 1977 to 1980 and 18 diamond drill holes totalling 2,313 meters in 1979 and 1980.

Historic drilling identified three mineralized horizons, termed A Zone, Lower B Zone and Upper B Zone, preserved over a 1.5 kilometre long trend.  The best diamond drill intersection was a 5.18 meter intercept in hole 80B14 within the Upper B Zone that returned a grade of 1.95% WO3 and 0.6 g/t Au*.  Elsewhere, numerous drill intersections of all three mineralized horizons are in the 0.5% to 1.5% WO3 range but the current drill hole density is too widely spaced to establish continuity between them for the purposes of a resource estimate*.  Approximately 1,000 meters of diamond drilling is planned for 2008.

*Historic results pre-date the implementation of NI 43-101 and although believed to be reliable by management should not be relied upon as such.
